I have had this Pez dispenser for awhile. I really don't know why I kept it. It sits on my desk and offers me nothing…the chalk candy has long since been ate up.

I got the oil changed in my truck today. I find it fascinating that there is always an empty box of Krispy Kreme donuts sitting near the counter. I have yet to see an actual donut in the box. Still I would not eat one if there were any...well I don't know...maybe?

More photos of states. This is actually a large hanging piece in our hallway. It represents the "travel station." We have a large amount of travel books and pamphlets that sit on a counter top underneath the states. Occasionally, we'll grab a book from the "station" and plan our next adventure.

Physical time. I waited almost a half hour to be told in 2 minutes that I am healthy. It was nice to be told that though. Last year I was told that I had higher than normal cholesterol. It kind of shook me the wrong way because I usually eat relatively healthy. So, I changed up and started to do like those old (do they still have them on) commercials where the people eat oatmeal to lower their cholesterol levels. It worked. Now, I am going to take a few weeks to eat whatever the hell I want.

I talked about my favorite beer before. There is not much to say from that. I am not going to discuss tasting notes or hints on how to brew one. Maybe later.
This is more of a celebratory occasion. After a few days worth of posts passed I finally realized that I have hit the milestone of reaching 100 days. So, I am going to let Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings sing me into the next 100 days.

I am starting to question wether or not I have taken pictures of certain things. I swear I took a photo of this before, but alas, I have not. This is a poster from a music festival I went to.

I spent a good hour attempting to get a Yahtzee (<--- just in case you are one of the few people who do not know what a Yahtzee is) on my first roll so I can take a picture. This is the best that I could do.

Continuing with the theme of Asian cuisine, we had some Shabu Shabu today at one of our favorite restaurants. The process is simple. One receives a meat of their choice along with vegetables and dipping sauce. There is a pot of boiling water that is placed in the middle of the table. The meat is then placed in the water and quickly swished around until cooked. Place meat in sauce and repeat.

I realize that this photograph is a little disturbing. Despite the fact that it looks like a plate full of finger meat the food was actually tasty. I have been craving some sushi and decided to have a quick lunch at a spot near my house.

We went downtown today and I saw this mosaic on one of the walls of a hotel there. Sorry for the simple explanation, but that's really all there is.

Yes, I was using my phone while driving. I wanted to take a quick snapshot of the commute to work to show the view of the city. I'm sure the person in front of me reported me and was suspicious as to why I was photographing their car. Oh well.

So, I said at the beginning of my little project that I would try not to take any photos of my cats sleeping. I did not limit myself from taking pictures of their tails though.
June 14, 2012
Sorry for the blurriness. As dangerous as this looks, it really is not that strong. It's mostly beer with a little bit of margarita mixed in.

More mead bottling. I made a ginger mead last August that has been sitting in the closest since then. I figured it was high time to bottle the stuff.
Naturally, after bottling I have to sample it. What better way than to sample it with my new Dave Matthew's Band pint glasses. That's a helluva lot of mead though.

I work in a predominately hispanic neighborhood. Vendors push their carts around the neighborhood or use a large trash can to transport their elotes or corn on the cob. As a result, corn husks litter the area. I suppose it is better than plastic soda bottles.
June 11, 2012
This was one of those late night, "oh crap I forgot to take a photo" moments. The cup filled with brown goo that used to be coffee has been sitting on a trash can at work for almost 2 weeks. It's becoming our symbol of laziness.

I got an early birthday gift from my wife. A Barnes and Noble Nook reading thing. I enjoy it a lot. I debated on the differences between a Nook and a Kindle (the difference are small) and came to the conclusion that I can just have both. I have an iPad with a Kindle app on it that I use. That way, I can get the books that are only available on Amazon and the ones that are only available on Barnes and Noble. Oh, technology.

I really enjoy the video game Minecraft. That's been discussed. My wife and I needed something to do so we decided to craft things out of Perler Beads. I suggested Minecraft items and characters because they are already in a pixelated form that is easy to translate into beads. So, now I have a miniature diamond pick axe, a diamond, and a creeper.

One of the few places I can tolerate going with my wife to shop is Bath and Body works if only for the C.O Bigelow shave cream. It's the best.
June 6, 2012
I have a pickup truck and it never ceases to amaze me how idiotic people are. My truck is not a trash receptacle! Thanks John Martinez (made up name, but the guy's actual name is on the receipt) for throwing your crumpled up receipt from Dunkin' Donuts into the bed of my truck, it brought me joy…and a picture for the day.

This is Edmond the Christmas Whale, or so my wife says. When I mentioned that I had a bunch of holiday decorations around the house I failed to talk about the Christmas portion. Edmond sits on the shelve until Christmas time. When that time comes, he is then accompanied by some Christmas trees and maybe some plastic toy character from the Rudolph movie. My wife is a child.
June 3, 2012
As I mentioned before I enjoy the sweet addiction of playing Minecraft. I purchased a lanyard the other day that I can use for work. It does get stares of confusion, but a few people get it and that is all that matters.

I was lying in bed in the between time of wake up and sleep and asked my wife if I could have some breakfast in bed. After contestant pestering I finally received my wish. It was not what I really had in mind though. It was a piece of cheese with various nuts to make a smiley face. It's the thought that counts I guess.
